Don’t Try this at Home:

o Don’t… put firecrackers in snowballs and light them and throw them in the air to see if they blow up. You might actually blow something up besides the snowballs. (Kyle and Jed did – well they blew up the snowballs –blowing up something else was the lecture they got afterwards)

o Don’t … grow 3 inches in 3 months and tell your older brother now that you are bigger than him you can take him down. You might get beat up. (Jed did)

o Don’t… roller skate down the hill holding on to your brother’s bike while he pedals as fast as he can go. You might crash and get scrapes and bruises all over your body when you somersault to a stop. (Jake did)

o Don’t … ride your bike up a skateboard ramp near the window well. You might fall in the window well and break your arm. (Colby did)

o Don’t… try to play flag football or any sport like you are 16 again when you are really 40. You might hurt yourself. (Scott always does)

o Don’t drive home in a snow storm. You might get stuck in your car for 8 hours. (Colby and I did)

Who said Boys were easier than Girls?

Just to sum up our year… lots of scrapes and bruises and wrestling and even some broken bones. But… lots of laughter, good times, and happy memories too. We wouldn’t trade our boys and we sure love them. As long as everyone stays fairly safe… we’re happy.
